Col. ANSON's ch f by Emilius, dam by Taurus - Wat's dam (F. BUTLER) .......... 2
Lord EXETER's b f Petrowna, by Velocipede, out of Czar's dam (W. BOYCE) .. 3
Betting: 6 to 4 on Petrowna. The Rint colt made all the running, followed by Petrowna to the cords,
and on her defeat by the Emilius filly, was never caught, and won easily by a length.

A sweepstakes of 10 sovs. each; three year olds 7st 7lb, four, 8st 9lb, five and upwards, 9st; the
winner to be sold for 200 sovs.; T.Y.C.; 4 subs.

Betting: 5 to 4, and just before starting, even on the Nininka colt, which followed the example of
Lord LONSDALE's colt, by taking the lead, keeping it, and winning by a length.

MATCH. - Duke of BEDFORD's Oakley, 8st 12lb, agst Mr J. DAY's St. Lawrence, 8st 7lb; 200, h ft;
D.M. - Off by consent.

There was no challenge for the Whip.
