Page 6 The late Mrs Eleanor Gunson Probate has been granted in the Carlisle District Registry of the will of the late Mrs Eleanor Gunson of Oak Bank, Ulpha. The whole of her real and personal estate is devised and bequeathed to her only child, Mr John Gunson. The gross value of the estate is sworn at £ 23,295 15s 2d the net value being £ 23,189 19s 2d. Mrs Catherine Wilson, Whitehaven Probate of the will of Mrs Catherine Wilson of 21 Victoria Terrace, Whitehaven who died on 5th June last, leaving estate valued at £ 2,999 1s 3d gross, has been granted to her daughters Agnes and Mary Catherine Wilson. Miss A Gill, Penrith Miss Ann Gill late of 4 Brunswick Square, Penrith who died on July 15th at the advanced age of 80 years and who was interred at Heskett Church on the 18th, has amongst other bequests made the following : To the rector and churchwardens of Hesket in the Foreest for restoring or repairing the church £ 500 To the Penrith Jubilee Cottage Hospital £ 500 To the Convalescent Institution Silloth £ 200 To the Border Counties Home for Incurables, Carlisle £ 200 and to the Cumberland Infirmary £ 500 The executors of the Will are Mr William Metcalfe, draper Penrith and Mr Henry Richardson, solicitor Penrith |
