The prisoners had all been arrested on warrants. Under the circumstances he did not intend to now call evidence, but merely to ask for a remand until Monday next when the case would be gone into. It was not his desire that the prisoners should be detained in custody for such a length of time and Mr Attar, who was present on their behalf, would no doubt make an application for bailwhich he (the supt.) should not oppose. Prisoners were remanded until Monday, Mr Attar applied for bail, which was granted, each of the prisoners in £ 5, and one surety of £ 5. All the prisoners were bailed, the following being accepted as sureties : Terence Mourinay of 4 Christian Street, property owner Harrington, for the three Lennons, Edward Collins and Henry Hughes.
