The National Art Union, Of which his Royal Highness Price Albert is Patron, Respectfully submits the following Scheme to the consideration of the Public:- Subscribers to the national Art Union are put into possession of their Prints immediately on the payment of their Subscriptions; they also have a Choice of the following Line Engravings, which they can select and take with them at the time of subscribing, viz.:- 1. ANCIENT ITALY, Painted by Turner, R. A., and Engraved by Willmore. 2. Modern Italy, Painted by Turner, R. A., and Engraved by Miller. 3. The Lattice and the Mask ( A Pair or Prints,) Painted by E. Landseer, R.A., and Engraved by Robinson. Thus, by paying a Subscription of one Guinea, Subscribers are not only entitled to select either No. 1, 2, or 3, but also to a Chance in the Drawing of the Prize, which vary from. £10 To £ 500. The Prize-Holders will have the option of Selecting their Prizes from any Public Artists' Exhibition in the Kingdom.
