At the Presbyterian Chapel, Fisher Street, on the 12 instant the Rev. Robert Wolstenholme, of Spring-head, near Manchester, to Ann, daughter of Mr. Routledge, Meadow Terrace. At Gretna Green on the 5th instant, Mr. Downey, mariner, to Miss Sarah Wear, both of Queen Street, Whitehaven. At the Register Office, Cockermouth, on the 9th instant, Mr. John Donald, of Dearham, to Mary Darling, of Row Buck, in Dovenby; and on the 10th , Mr. John Cowie, to Mary Bragg, both of Gray Southen. At Egremont, on the 4th instant, by the Rev. W. H. Leech, rector, Capt. W. Steele, of the Derwent, of Whitehaven, to Miss Eleanor Banks, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Banks, of Langhorn, near Egremont. At Dalton-in-Furness on the 3rd instant, Mr. John Lowther, miller, to Miss Mary Johnson, of Cocker, in Low Furness.
