The Men's Effort Print E-mail

The men’s effort, which took place in the form of a concert, in  aid of the forthcoming Congregational Church bazaar, was a highly successful affair, the schoolroom being crowded.

 Mr. A. L. ROBERTSON, choirmaster, presided, and a splendid and varied programme was much appreciated. The following took part: -

Messrs. F. WAITE and W. MITCHINSON (organ and piano duets.

Miss. W. WILSON, solos

Messrs. MOORE and ROBERTSON, Duet.

Mr. J. BELL, bones solo

The National Anthem was sung at the close, and a hearty vote of  thanks was accorded the artists on the call of Rev. C. BOOTH, pastor.
