THE GAIETY(Talking Pictures), WHITEHAVEN
_____

FEATURE PICTURES NEXT WEEK.

What is generally considered to be the greatest emotional drama  in the
history of talking pictures is the production, “Born To Love,” which will be the main picture at the Gaiety, Whitehaven for the first half of next week.
Constance BENNETT, the popular screen star, is the central figure in the film, and has great scope for her dramatic ability. The action takes place in 1918 and 1921 and one of the most spectacular sequences is a reproduction of the Armistice celebrations in London.

For the second half of the week the new comedy drama, A Tailor Made Man” will be screened, with the versatile Wm. HAINES in the leading role. Comedy and romance abound in the story which deals with modern business life in which HAINES appears first as a trouser presser in a tailor shop, then rises to be executive head of a big store, but goes back to the shop for the love of a girl.
A clever supporting cast includes Dorothy JORDAN, Jos.CAWTHORN and Marjorie RAMBEAU.
