The annual effort of the Working Men’s Institute in the Princess Hall on Ladies: - 1. Miss. M. BROWN 2. Mrs. H. WILSON, Great Clifton 3. Mrs. J. BLACKBURN 4. Mrs. GRANT Gentlemen: - 1. Mr. G. BETHWAITE 2. Mr. B. STEELE, Camerton 3. Mr. T. IRVING 4. Mr. R. BROADBENT, Camerton, (after a tie with Mr. J. EDWARDS At the dance music was provided by the Northside Midnight Follies. Messrs. J. MILNER and A. CUMMINGS were M.C.’s, and a main spot waltzing competition was won by Miss. Jean WHITFIELD and partner. The arrangements were under the supervision of Mr. W. OSBORNE (treasurer) and Mr. J. STANGER, (secretary). |
