 The annual effort of the Working Men’s Institute in the Princess  Hall on
Monday night, was well attended. Nineteen tables were were occupied at  the drive, which was conducted by Mr. H. M. FEARON. Mrs. W. EARL distributed the prizes to:-

2. Mrs. H. WILSON, Great Clifton

3. Mrs. J. BLACKBURN

4. Mrs. GRANT

Gentlemen: -

1. Mr. G. BETHWAITE

2. Mr. B. STEELE, Camerton

3. Mr. T. IRVING

4. Mr. R. BROADBENT, Camerton, (after a tie with Mr. J. EDWARDS

At the dance music was provided by the Northside Midnight Follies. Messrs. J. MILNER and A. CUMMINGS were M.C.’s, and a main spot waltzing  competition was won by Miss. Jean WHITFIELD and partner.

The arrangements were under the supervision of Mr. W. OSBORNE (treasurer) and Mr. J. STANGER, (secretary).
