The monthly meeting was held on Tuesday, Mrs. WRIGLEY presiding. An excellent report of the annual meeting at Carlisle was given by the delegate,  Miss. WATTERS.

The financial statement, presented by the treasurer, Miss. WATTERS, showed a credit balance of £16. The secretary gave a report of the year’s work, which showed satisfactory progress. The voting for the new committee followed, the successful members being Mesdames: -

 Mrs. WRIGLEY was elected president, Mrs. KEENE and Mrs. A. JACKSON,  vice presidents, Mr. MAWDSLEY’s resignation as vice president being received  with regret. The tellers, Mr. D. MOORE and Mr. W. HARTLEY were thanked by Mrs. WRIGLEY.

 The bring and buy stall, superintended by Mrs. EVAN-THOMAS. Realized  £2  8s for the W. I. Funds.
