WHY ANXIETY UPSETS THE  STOMACH.
______

Everyone is affected in some way by the present difficult times,  but few
realise that worry and anxiety are common causes of indigestion and are largely responsible for prevailing epidemic of stomach troubles.

The reason for this is that the digestive secretions of the stomach  are
controlled by the nervous system and when, as a result of worry and anxiety  the nerves become strained and over worked too much acid is secreted by the stomach. This excess acid ferments food and causes painful digestive  disorders.

To overcome this, it is obvious that the stomach acidity must be
neutralized, and for this purpose doctors recommend a little “Bisurated “ Magnesia which can be obtained from any chemist for 1s 3d. Not only does  “Bisurated”
Magnesia give instant relief by counteracting excess acid but it  also soothes, heals and strengthens the stomach. With good digestion thus  restored, most of your worries lose their magnitude and life seems brighter and  happier.
