It’s a pity the whole country cannot hear the story of  a Cumberland veteran’
s treatment and cure of rheumatism. It will be restricted  on sound radio on
Monday, February 16, to V. H. F. Sandale (Cumberland) and  Douglas (Isle of
Man) and 261 metres in a magazine  programme.

Interviewed by Mr. Alfred HALL, a former colleague of  his on Cockermouth R.
D. Council, Mr. Robert JUST, Portinscale, Keswick, will  tell the story of
suffering “the scrws” at the age of 38 to 40 years, and how,  by chance, he
found that the sting of a bee brought considerable  relief.

Mr. JUST, who is now 86, and though troubled with  pleurisy, has never had
rheumatism since, will offer his permanent cure. He took  bees to bed with him
and allowed them to sting his painful  joints.

Night after night this went on for three weeks  until the pain vanished and
swollen muscles relaxed.

Mr. JUST has also successfully treated other people in  this way, though in
some cases “patients” have not had the patience to take the  full course of
stings and carry out his advice to the  letter.
