Disease Among Grouse Print E-mail
Reports which have been current for some time as to the prevalence of disease among the grouse on the principal Scotch moors now assume (a Scotch correspondent says) definite form.
From Perth and Iverness-shire keepers report that disease is working sad havoc among the birds, and unless the epidemic abates, the result will be disastrous.
Disease is generally confined to the old grouse, the young birds are fairly
healthy and abundant.
