AN ASPATRIA HOUND IN WINNING FORM:
A hound called Danger, belonging to the Aspatria Harrier's Pack, and at present in the hands of Mr. W. BUCHANAN, Aspatria, has just accomplished a very successful weeks performance. Commencing with Saturday, June 1st, the dog ran into second place at the Hound Trail at Aspatria for which 10s was secured. At Dearham the following Tuesday Danger was placed third, the prize being 10s. On the next day, Wednesday, the dog was seen out at Oulton (sp?) and on this occasion came in first and enriched his keeper to the extent of 12s 6d. and a silver cup. The success of this hound, however, did not end here, as Danger once more tried conclusions at Longtown on Thursday, and again secured premier honours for which 10s and a silver teapot of the value of 25s was given.
