TO be SOLD in Public Sale, to the Highest Bidder, on WEDNESDAY, the 12th Day of January, 1814, at the House of JOHN MAWSON, the Sign of the Nag's Head, in Nicholson's Alley, The Good Brigantine, called the D E F E N C E (WILLIAM MOORE, Master) With all her Materials as she now lies in Whitehaven Harbour; Burthen per Register 100 Tons, and carries 63 Waggons of Coals, and may be sent to Sea without any Expence. Particulars may be known by applying to the Captain on Board. ***The Purchaser to pay a Deposit of Five per Cent. and the Remainder of the Purchase Money at Two equal Payments, at Three and Six Months, giving satisfactory Security before they depart the Sale. Also the Brig S U G N O L (WILLIAM PROWSE, Master) Burthen per Register 152 Tons; Chester built; carries a large Cargo, and is well found in the principal Materials of Sails, Cables, &c.
