A series of Primitive Methodist services under the auspices of what is called "The Band Meeting" of "Saturday Night Fellowship Meetings" was held on Sunday and Monday at Whitehaven. The town was processioned morning, afternoon and night and in addition to the services in the church open air services were held. The morning and evening services were conducted by Dr. DAVIES, who also preached. In the afternoon the old fashioned "love feast" was conducted by Mr. E. HUNTER. The members of the band meeting took the place of the ordinary choir and rendered a number of old Methodist hymns, and at night Mr. PARKER On Monday afternoon a public tea was held in the schoolroom, and at night there was a public meeting, presided over by Mr. T.
