The monthly meeting of this board was held at the Town Hall, Egremont, on Monday evening. There were present: - W. K. BOUCH, chairman J. C. FARQUHARSON H. HARTLEY W. CARLTON A. RICHARDSON W. ARMSTRONG J. SMITH J. MUNCASTER, clerk. Mr. ARMSTRONG said there was nothing to report at the cemetery except that the curator's house had been painted and done up. The report which was also signed by Mr. W. CARLTON, was approved. The Clerk reported that the internments for the past month were 6 adults and 2 children. The clerk said the Board would have to make Mr. SMITH: "We have had it occasionally at this time of the year, the other half year is generally £150. The Chairman: It will get lower still when we get the loan paid off. The motion was carried. The Chairman moved that a cheque be drawn for wages amounting to £10 9s 2d, and £2 3s 6d, for Mr. BARNES's half year pension as parish clerk. Mr. HARTLEY seconded this and it was agreed to. |
