RESPECTFULLY informs the Ladies of Kendal and its Vicinity that her Show
Rooms will be open on and after Tuesday, 12th November, with a collection of
New Berlin Patterns, a variety of kinds of Needle Work, and Fancy Articles
in Knitting, Netting, Crochet, Daisy, and Bugle Work;  also a select
assortment of Millinery in Ladies' Dress, Morning and Night caps, Widows'
Ditto, Lappets, Flowers, Ribbons, Collars, Berthas, Lace, &c. &c.

M. CROFT returns her sincere thanks for the support she has received since
she commenced business, and respectfully solicits a continuance thereof.

UNPRECEDENTED SALE OF DRAPERY
GOODS, &c.

RESPECTFULLY acquaints his numerous Patrons and the Public that he has
removed, for the convenience of Private Sale, the remaining portion of the
VALUABLE DRAPERY STOCK, in richly figured Damasks, &c. &c., which, from the
immense quantity, and time limited, he has been unable this week to clear by
Auction, from the Odd Fellows' Hall to HIS WAREHOUSE and PREMISES, near the
KING'S ARMS INN, Kendal, (lately occupied by ROBERT BENSON, Esq.) where the
Goods may be inspected, and GREAT BARGAINS obtained, at Auction Prices (free
from Duty), on Tuesday, November 12th, and following days during the Week,
from Nine o'Clock in the Morning to Six in the Evening.

suitable Outbuildings, and about Seventy-six Acres of Arable, Meadow, and
Pasture Land, lying within a ring fence.  It is situated in the Townships of
Applethwaite and Undermillbeck, near Windermere Lake, one mile from Bowness
and eight miles from Kendal, and within a short distance of the terminus of
the intended Kendal and Windermere Railway.  Part of the Land is held under
the EARL OF LONSDALE, on payment of a trifling fine on the change of Tenant,
the remainder is Freehold.

**JOHN WREN, the present Tenant, will show the Premises, and further
information, respecting the property, may be had by applying to THOMAS
ROBINSON, Watch Maker, Kendal, who is authorised to Sell or Let the same as
soon as an adequate offer is made.
