(Copy of a letter from the Earl of Wellington, dated
Camp at Badajoz, April 8.)

My Lord, - It gives me great pleasure to inform your Lordship that
our
numerous wounded Officers and Soldiers are doing well.

I have had great reason to be satisfied with the attention paid to
them by Mr. M'GREGOR, the Inspector General of Hospitals, and the medical
gentlemen under his direction, and I trust that the loss to the service on
this
occasion, will not eventually be great.

I have the honour to be &c.

                                              WELLINGTON

The Earl of Liverpool &c., &c.
