May I suggest to your readers that they should not  throw golf balls or
rubber balls for their dogs to  retrieve.

During the past year, Our Dumb Friends League  hospitals and clinics have had many cases where the veterinary surgeons have had  to operate to remove such objects and the animals lives have been endangered by  thoughtlessness.
